Kalobeyei Organization for Behavioral Change (KOBC) is a youth-led, community-based organization working with refugee and host communities in Kalobeyei Integrated Settlement and surrounding areas of Turkana West, Kenya.

KOBC began its community activities in 2024 and was formally registered in Kenya in 2026, strengthening our institutional capacity to continue and expand our community-led work.

We focus on empowering young people, women, refugees, and host-community members through practical initiatives that promote climate awareness and community resilience, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), social entrepreneurship, digital learning, life skills and mentorship, and peacebuilding and social cohesion.

Our approach is grounded in community participation, youth leadership, local knowledge, partnerships, and practical solutions that respond to the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
